Today was gorgeous outside. We spent almost 4 hours at the park! Being pregnant means I am very easily sun burnt, yesterday I got a nice little burn and so today I applied sunscreen like crazy but my knees got burnt. We had a wonderful time playing in the sand, eating Popsicles thanks to Erika, and the kids loved playing train down the slide.
Morgan had her first game, which was pretty interesting and most of the kids had no clue what was going on. She stood around most of the time, but at one moment in the second half it clicked and she went and got the ball away from the white team, and then turned the ball around and had a break away (the pictures above) and then shot it at the net with her team mates! Then they scored! One of the moms (that has a son) made the girls those awesome bows!
Once I get danny's Iphone I will upload the movie of Morgans Dance Recital, since it was a pre-ballet class it was more of just watching what they do in class. It was entertaining. Morgan was very cute up there dancing.
Funny/Sad story of the week. We have a rule in our house no flip flops at church. When we sat down (in the overflow chairs) Morgan noticed the girl in front of us (that was 2) was wearing flip flops and stated "we don't wear flip flops at church" Danny quickly cupped her mouth and tried to cover it up. Morgan was so embarrassed and sad that I had to take her out and calm her down not to cry. It is hard to teach Children that you might have a rule but other people don't.
