McKell got her first tooth

I have really struggled getting much blogging done since McKell came along I guess having 2 kids is harder to manage time than I thought. Working also has made finding time difficult, I either don't sleep and get things done or sleep. So not much sleep has been happening for me.

I really wanted to make note of the fact that McKell got her first tooth or teeth today (not sure if it is one or two). McKell has been an angel for all of her life so far. If I could get her to sleep through the night, she would be the best child in the world. She is always so happy and smily. I tell most people if I had to choose between a child who slept and a child who was happy I would choose the happy one. We have officially started our sleep training (since sunday) and hope that I can stick to it.  It is a team effort with the rest of the family sleeping in our room to not be woken with McKells cries.

We just got back from a great thanksgiving/wedding celebration for the MacLennan Clan. It was a blast to celebrate Kylie and Alex's Wedding. I did a lot of the wedding prep and didn't realize how stressful it would be, but the reception made up for all the stress, it was great company with great food and a great party!

My favorite part of the wedding was when we were all out dancing on the dance floor and Grandpa MacLennan (my grandpa) was out dancing to Call me maybe with Kylie. I can't wait to see what the photographer captured of that precious moment.

The day was a little stressful when I couldn't find my wallet and that meant I wouldn't be able to get into the temple without my recommend.... I finally got in, but didn't find my wallet till the end of the day.

After the wedding ceremony and the family pictures, Lindsey (Connor's Wife) and I headed back to the reception center and got our craft on. We did all the floral arrangements for the reception and made sure everything looked just right. Lindsey made all the boys bow ties and they looked adorable.  We also made the little girl headbands and the ribbon wands they played with. It was a really busy day but the food was so good. I loved the banana slushie and the turtles cheese cake. The dance was my favorite part of all. Hope you enjoy a few pictures from the event.

I agree about the happy baby/no sleep thing. Both my babies were happy little things, but we had to work on the sleep. As hard as sleep training is, that first night when they sleep all the way through makes it SO worth it.

Congrats to Kylee! And too you for all your hard work. Looks beautiful. Sorry we didn't get to see you. Someday our paths will cross again soon!!
